hey i've seen your ride around spotswood. i live right in monroe. i have the silver blitz body kit and the carbon fiber hood with a 420a stage 2, you've probably seen me. I've never seen Kurt around. I commute Ryders lane every day. it's cool some people around here chill on this board too.

That was definitely me that beeped to you on Ryder's Lane. I take that road home from work just about everyday and make a left onto Miltown road. I believe it was like a month or two ago. I always beep the horn to other 2gnts. It's cool to know there are other 2gnts around.

I will definitely keep the Raceway Park idea in mind as I would like to meet some 2gnters in person. I am not 100% sure that I could make it though being it is July 4th weekend. I'll keep checking the announcement section for updates.


Right now I am only running 8 psi of boost but I am really pleased with the way the car runs and sounds.


Do any of you local guys have a built engine and a turbo kit? I am looking into rebuilding in the near future along with putting in a Clutch Masters stage 4 clutch kit. I would like some recommendations of who did the work for you.

I have a stage 2 but no rebuild. Its in the works, I already have a spare head I'm going to get worked up but Im looking for a block. Im going to build it so I can safely run a stage 3 w/o any worries. As for who's going to do it, I was thinking of trying it myself.

im only hitting 7 psi too thegame. i have my vacuum source tapped at the manifold, so it holds @ 7. i used to get 5-6 running through the intercooler when it was tapped at the compressor housing...

you can try to set up a boost controller, but when i did i was getting 9-10 psi, which i figured is a little too high for the stocker injectors...

My likely guess of why I am running 8 psi would be the side mount intercooler as I would think you wouldn't have as much of a pressure drop. I also have every single hose clamped, from the signal line to the SFMU to the signal line to the blow off valve. I know the HRC instructions to mount the signal line for the boost gauge was very inadequate and I changed that to a nice brass union piece that provides a leak free solution. This also may be part of the reason I am seeing 8 psi. Here's some pictures of what I am talking about:

I agree we should all definitely meet up one day. When I purchased the kit I thought about going with a front mount intercooler but there is absolutely no way it would fit with my current bumper. I had to remove the large plastic front impact beam to get the bumper to fit (I did all the body work on my car except for the painting).

Btw, if any of you local guys decide to tackle rebuilding by yourself, I would like to offer you some help. I would like to learn as much as I can. I also have the Mitsubishi Factory Service Manuals for a guide.

a meet sounds like a great idea. i'm only seeing 7psi too. either thats the truth or i should not have put the BOV and boost gauge on the same tap making it error. i dont have the time lately to try and troubleshoot it. see u guys soon.
