Hey guys.. :P Here is the question. I am not familiar with engines too much but i have spent a lot of money making the car look good (minus the wheels) but anyway.. I need to get the car moving quicker! However it is an Automatic and I get a lot of crap about it! So I definitely want to keep it because when i turbo it.. They will see what an auto can do. Well anyway... It takes a day and a half for the auto tranny to downshift, so what do u guys do or purchase to ease the shifting on the auto tranny. Like a quick downshift and go! Do u guys throw a new computer in or just deal with it?. Also recommend a gosh darn turbo for me!

Just like the wise one said. go to the performance section and then the auto sub section. We are just barely tapping things with our autos.

Final drive mod will give you better acceleration for 100 bucks.
The shift kit will make it shift quicker.
and the TC lock up mod will allow you to pull clean till you hit your rev limit. To nama a few. A tranny cooler is highly recommended.;)

yep, what cham said. do all of those things, but on a turbo, and its a 100 percent different car. any way you slice it, until you get a higher stall tq converter, the a/t is going to be a dog off the line.
