Im trying to take out my FPR in the back of the car. Ive gotten everything off except for where the fuel feed hard line (from fpr > engine) screws into the FPR. The bolt on the pipe (im not sure what its called) is stuck and no matter what I do I cant get it out. Ive tried WD40, liquid wrench, and every sort of plier and wrench possible. Is there any other way to remove that? How did you guys get it out?

Also, do you need to remove the fuel rail to take out the Schrader Valve? I got a removal tool from autozone, one which is supposed to remove the valves in tires (i was told its the same thing) and it seems to do absolutely nothing. How do you use it? Damn these are such noob questions but I cant figure them out.

With the FPR all i can say is pry harder :+

The tire remover valve will work, just make sure that you are doing it right. It will screw out like a screw and the remover is like a screw driver. Hope that helps...

You *should* be using a flare wrench on that fitting that screws into the stock FPR. These wrenches sort of wrap around the nut a bit better, and wont round off or damage the edges. I didnt need to use one, but its always a good idea too. If worse comes to worse, you can use a pair of visegrips to get it off. A real small pipe wrench works wonders too. But if you use those, the nut on the stock fuel line will be damaged of course :(

Im using a pipe wrench, ive found that that one has the best grip. The thing is im prying so hard now that its starting to bend the fuel feed pipe, and its actually starting to bend the metal on the fuel filter. I guess Ill just soak it in Liquid Wrench all night or something, maybe that will help. I have no clue WTF to do.

On the upside, I got the schrader valve removed, so at least thats taken care of.
