I dont know if this question has been posted but Everyone, where does your car top off at?

My car with the hrc stage 1 tops out at 140mph. I hit this pretty easy but my redline at 7300 backs my car off from going any further.

I have no clue... I will stop before the top of 4th and the top of 4th would be around 130...

a redlined fifth gear goes to about 168 mph

do you have an auto tranny? wait with a 7300 redline its manual, i don't see why your car would top out at 140mph in 5th, should be 165-170mph or pretty close to it. and with a turbo you should be able to hit atleast 150. i hit about 149mph in my car and its NA.

yeah, my shit tops off at 140hp due to my redline. i have a manual...is something wrong with my car, When i'm cruising at 80mph in 5th gear my rpm's are already at 4000

Isnt top speed supposed to be 157mph? Thats what I remember reading somewhere.

1g's rev that high at 90, i dont htink you should be revved that high? should he?

i believe my rs is 80 at 3500 or so. dont quote me. it may be 4000. i just know i dont like to run it at 4000 and i drive 80 sometimes. i cant remember. sorry.

What size tires/wheels are you running?

I have hit over 150mph in mine and did not redline.

ok, i checked out my car again today and i was wrong, i am at 3600 at 80mhp, but once i hit 90-93mph i am at 4000, but still, why the hell am i topping out at only 140mph and i'm actually just rounding it off, i actully top off at 138mph. i have a manuel and my wheels are 17/215/40

anyway, ive done 146ish on with my hrc stage 2, on the last motor, she was still pulling hard, egts started to jump and backed off, with the 2.4 high 155-162 shouldnt be a problem, but im scared so i doubt i really know

If I'm cruising at highway speed and jump on it my egt's are at 1550 at around 110 mph or so and I have to back down. Is this in my tunning possibly. I can run to redling in every gear but fifth with out getting that high an egt.
