I am surprised that the oil pan fitting is so low in the pan. The oil return line is supposed to be above the oil line in the pan to allow for adequate draining. If the oil return line is lower than the level in the pain, the oil will not drain from the turbo.
I have an HRC kit and the return is way up high close to the lip on the pan where it attaches to the block. I know my drain is way above the oil line as before I drilled the hole I marked the pan and made sure the hole was above the oil level stain on the inside of the pan.
I guess it works though as many Star Kits have been installed.
The differences are very interesting, Kurt

it is above the oil level in the pan, just barely. and it wouldnt fit any higher up because of shit in the way. oh and the o2 sensor is in a shitty spot.... i had to bend it a little to make it not hit the pan, but i had it like this for a little over a year, and all is good for now. :thumbsup
