I had a class with a guy telling me a few things that he did to a friends eclipse and was just going to pass it by with you guys to see if his stuff was straight.

1. He said he hooked up a GS-T stock turbo to a GS. He said all you needed is to get the GS-T intake/exhaust manifold too? Can you do this?

2. Also, can you put an intercooler on without having turbo? Me and my friends was arguing about this and I said you could, they said no.

1. What he said is stupid. I suppose if you wanted to fabricate an exhaust manifold to fit a T25 you could. But just about nobody does it.

2. You can't put on an intercooler without a turbo.

you can bolt on a intercooler without any piping man.

yah stupid questions all right, are u sure he even worked on a 420A engine before or he just making it up. the 4G63 and 420A are somewhat a different engine, the intake man. for the 420A has the inlet coming in from the the right, whereas the 4G63 comes from the left...to make it simple, the setup is opposite to each other. the only thing close enough to get a good engine swap for the GS/RS eclipse is the Lan Evo engines..but where can u find those laying around?

and yah, you can put an intercooler without a turbo, but why bother. any punks in the road see you with it, expects something from you. you dont want to be the joke in the neighborhood:nono
