hmm, ive got a GSS342 pump here, and there is absolutely no way its going to fit into the L-shaped bracket. its about 1/2 an inch longer than the stocker pump. is this the right pump? im pretty sure thats the right one for the 2g FWD, at least for the high flow...
anyone have any ideas?

yea, im hesitant to get some clamps and clamp the shit out of it and put that L bracket on. its seriously like an inch too long.
im considering boring a new hole for the mount.

just cut the hose shorter and use the stock rubber piece on the bottom then just slap it back together, your gonna have to compress it alittle to get the screw back in though.

you have to cut the nipple on the bracket assembly. i think i cut about 1/2" off

aaah, so you actually cut part of the metal nipple off? right off the mounting assembly itself?
for some reason that thought didnt even cross my mind. i like being able to bolt things like this right up, but if i must do surgery, so be it.
