ok....here's the deal, when i boost over 5psi i can smell gas in the car...i think i could be comming from he vortech...but there are no leaks....has anyone else had this problem?

Well, if you only smell the fuel under boost, you can probably assume that the rising pressure is making it leak somewhere. If you don't see any leaks right at the FMU, check the lines back to the tank. I had a leak once right at the filter, but I could still smell it in the car.

Not sure what turbosystem you have but I have encountered the same problem with my HRC kit in the past. Anyway....turned out that one of the lines to my inline pump was leaking, and the strong smell of gas permeated into the car. Just tightened up the clamp and viola!!! FIXED.

Yep I had the same problem with my inline pump. I also had the test port on my rail break a weld once and I smelled that too. After you shut the car off sniff around the car and under the hood and find where it's the strongest. That's the area your going to want to really look at. Or you could just trace every line and fuel componet. If your smelling it though, there is fuel somewhere that you will be able to see.

Id go over every line that has to do with your fuel and re-tighten the clamps. Hopefully that works.
