dang your stuff is bling bling you beat me in the bling bling turbo deparment. Hehe I could polish my manifold like that though hmm...

you might wanna get rid of that breather filter and swap it for a catchcan unless you want oil all over you engine bay though x(

first off.. no i didnt do the install a comp. called forced induction did it here in co..

brian.. dont even bother goin down to the shop anymore.. mike claimed bankruptcy and sold forced induction to turn 5..ugh.. i'm pretty pissed too.. cause since my car was in there so long..it ended up getting over a grand in damadges done to it=( as far as getting my DP back .. just gimme a call or email..and we'll figure a time to meet up .. maybe sat nite.. (if you are still meeting at hamburger stand..).. i'm in no rush...by the way.. how did yr emissions go?

as far as the breather.. i'm not having any oil anywhere with it..but i'll keep the catchcan in mind..thanx

yes its the turbo x's rfl.. i love it.. very loud.. yet under boost u cant hear it at all.. which is nice when i dont want people to konw i'm boosted..lol

yes its a star manifold that i purchased direct from turbonetics.. and hrc fmic and no its not a garret turbo.. and yes its more hybrid then custom.. i just chose my words poorly.. but the downpipe ..wastegate pipe is custom..so there :P

i'm runnin 6lbs of boost. would love to run more..but gotta build the motor first, which will be the end of the year hopfully.

and last.. bout the pic.. i guess i can post one when i get one taken.. give me a few days=)...

Howd you polish them to such a shine. What did you use?

how much was it for your intake manifold chromed? when the INDY manifold is out i'd like to get it nice and all shiny.

by the way, i like your choice in rims.

well my turbo .. and bov. came polished..but i got my intake & throttlebody polished, not chromed (well the top halfs) for 10bux.... since the person is a friend=)
I'm considering doing the valve cover too..but then again, i might just paint it yellow .. any suggestions?

But how did your friend polish the intake manifold? Some type of wire brush, dremel...details! :-D

I don't know how her friend did it but this is hot I did my compressor housing. Same process as port and polishing :P took a 60 grit cart roll then went over it with a flap wheel, then polished it with a crossbuff and WD40.

Well i know he used a griding wheel to get the coating off, but not too sure how he polished it.. but i can find out for ya=).

dr1665..thanx again for the headlight.. as soon as i get it, i'll send mine out to you. And i decided i'm gonna go yellow on the valve cover and polish everything else (down the road)..:thumbsup

My plenum is polished too. A friend of mine used an air compressor tool with a polishing wheel. He ground it down then used this compound called white rouge with the polishing wheel. Came out to a mirror shine. Chroming parts is cheap though.. my valve cover cost 75 bucks.

I seen a pic of a girl on that car that was skinny and blonde on hot or not .com no j/k BTW your drivers side headlamp has a leak.

i know they headlight leaks.. i've already got a new one.. (slightly used) on the way=).. and i would love to see the link of the girl on hot or not with my car.. cause i didnt put one up there.

too polish it like she has it you need to first wire wheel it down then start with different grades of sand paper and keep going up in grade till you get the mirror shine then buff it with the brown and red polish sticks from sears to get it really looking like a mirror...
