ok, i just got my NGK's, i have a stage 1 hrc turbo system boosting at 5psi, what is my gap suppose to be at? this is my first time installing plugs. the plugs are set at .044 already. thanks for the info!

My NGK's i set to .028, but you will see others on the board between .030 - .035

Our owners manual tells us to gap our plugs between .048-.050 where or who told you to gap the plugs at .028? And what number NGK plug do you use.

If you get the NGKBKR 7E. They come already pre-gapped for turbo use. Its .34 I believe.

The owners manual recommendations for spark plug gapping is meant for NON turbo application.

And as far as spark plugs coming pre-gapped, I would suggest always double-checking them before installing. It only takes a second to be sure.

Well thats true if you are NON-TURBO. He has a TURBO, and if you have a turbo, you want to make your gap smaller, and run a colder plug.
Most run around .030 - .032 or even a little higher. I have found perfect results at .028 with my setup.

i ended up gapping the plugs at .032, seems to run just fine, thanks for the info! oh and i have the 6E's
