4912, Cost to have turbo installed
Posted by nappyjim, May-12-01 03:33 AM
Hi all, just found out about this duscussion board, real good thing going here. Anyway, I have a 95 Talon Esi automatic. I was thinking about puttin the Stage 1 HRC turbo on it and I know I cant put it on myself. So i was wondering if any of you guys know how much a shop would charge to put it on? Or, if anyone lives in Illinois and likes doing this stuff, I can give you some money to put it on for me.
One more question, will I get less boost with an automatic trans rather than a manual? Thanks.

don't know how much it would cost to install cause it varys so widely depending on how good an install to local. i know we do have someone that lives in chicago but i don't remember who. you can get the same amount of boost but it won't launch as good as a stick unless you go "oracle" on it. ask him about level 10!
