on a T3/T4 turbo what size compressor plug is needed to plug the compressor side.(is it -an size or pipe size)

Do you mean the little hole in the compressor side of the turbo that is used for boost control / measurement?

Just pull the plug and catch a ride to the store to get the plug. Or drive your car and just don't boost it. Or you could drive there take the fitting off there and get the right one, then come home and finish the work. Sorry I don't know the size though.
