its hot as hell where i live so i was thinking of going liquid to air IC is that possible on our cars

I guess it is, but as far as I know, there is no "readily available" kit for our cars.

The reason that people don't use it (apart from extra weight and plumbing issues) is that on long trips (like maybe more than an hour drive) an air-air intercooler is more efficient. The liquid (water usually) to air intercooler is usually ideal for drag racing because they have ice and cold water ready for it at the beginning of the run...

I don't know what your definition of "hot as hell" is, but here in Indiana, in summer the temps like to sit around 100 deg F which is pretty hot, however after long drives, the intercooler out-tank on my A'PEXi FMIC is cool to the touch (while the in-tank is freaking hot).
