48871, Do you think 255lph is enough for my apps? Posted by JustOne, May-15-03 08:59 PM
Ok I took off my fuel stuff for my emission test. While taking off the HRC inline I was thinking that it was probably WAY over kill for my setup.
Here is what I run at the moment:
1:1 Bosch, base fuel pressure is @ 39-40psi Holley 255 LPH intank (not forced induction one) HRC inline 625cc peak and hold (low impedance) injectors DFI of course
I really, really dont want this inline on anymore. Do you think I would be good w/o it? Max boost the car will see this summer is 25psi.
will it hold w/ just my intank???
TIA Brian

From thier site "at 80 PSI the standard 255 lph pump will flow around 132 liters (35 gallons) per hour"
Thats even better than the Walbro low pressure pump. Even at 70psi on the rail(30 pounds of boost) it'll probably flow around 40 GPH. Thats more than enough for your 625s. You'll peg your injectors open before running out of fuel in the rail with just the Holley.

Yeah I looked at the numbers to, I just wasnt 100% about it. When I bought the pump I remember doing the math then and thinking that would be all I needed. I guess if I need more I can always put the screamer back on.
Thanks Brian
