Nice car man. I downloaded that long-ass vid of where you get the oil gauge fixed. It's always the little things isn't it.
Good job dude. :thumbsup

Kickass man. I live in Springfield Illinois, and am actually going to SIU-E next year. Maybe I'll run into you. Keep up the good work...
p.s. How did you afford to build your engine...being a college student? Tell me the secret....cause I'm eager.

Students have the great option of taking out more loans than they need to pay for school. I did it myself last year... what a dumb idea that was though, cause I dropped out halway through the semester. Now I owe a lot of money, lol.

Yeah, what ^^ said. I pulled down an extra $7500 last year from those student loans. Only downside? Only managed to drop about 2K into the 2GNT. :( Maybe this year???? :wary

I granted 2 semesters ago. Im a manager of a computer store locally while i wait for my g/f to finish school. Plus I have some hoes that I pimp on the street ;)
We used a multi-layered steel head gasket for napa, (which is the same that mitsu sells for twice the price).
I have stainless steel valves from Howell. For the assembly we are using plain motor oil with a slight bit a tranny fluid (just from the assembly). Synthetic doesnt come for another 600 miles.
Other than that (the long ass break in period which is killing me), everything is going well so far.
