if done properly can suit very good performance on 20+psi on pump gas.

im going to lookinto alcohol injection and weight the differenences before i decide on which one...

They were talking about 8 psi non-intercooled . And were able to advance timing more with not detonation.
I see a downfall by hydro lock... What if the little sprayer got cloggerd and sprayed a stream of H20 and alch.

i still want to get some good information on propane injection. from what i hear, it increaces octane to some insanely high level, and makes stuff happier. i know lots of crazy trucks have this, but i want to see someone with a modern, 4 cylinder, turbocharged, fuel injected car do it.

LOL... I can just imagine a Huge propane tank in the trunk...

If you want good information on PROPANE INJECTION. Go to Turbobuick.com forums. Tried and tested, there are some very good units. The benefits are:

-reduced knock
-octane boost
-intake cooling effects (similar to nitrous)
-higher boost on pump gas.
-inexpensive to refill

Theres a couple of the viper guys down here using propane injection. Also remember reading about the 3si guys using it too w/ success, able to turn up the boost with no additional knock...

A friend of mine is going to be using propane injection on his 4g63 setup. He will need the higher octane at all times due to the extremely large turbo and boost levels he'll be running. I'll get some pics when it's all finished.

I think of water injection as a band aid fix. We know it can be done without it, so why try with it? Just one more thing to have to pay attention to that can go wrong.

Yeah it CAN be done without it. With race gas. But why buy race gas and burn up o2 sensors when you can buy a jug of water and alcohol and get the same benefits without the downsides? Water injection lets you run higher boost than you could on pump gas so if we are just talking pump gas then it CAN'T be done without it or something like it (propane)
