I boost at least 12psi daily and 15psi occasionally. I have the 30ibs and cartech fpr. A/F is ectremely rich under full boost, Over 1.XXX. After hard runs from 1st gear, my engine gets pretty loud, shakes at idle and the muffler sounds like a automatic potato gun. That sporadic thump thump sound. I would step on it and anything below 3krpm it just sputters. Above that, it's smooth. I let it idle in my driveway for a while and the sound is just still there. I shut the car off, turn it back on and the sound disappears. It idles fine again. Anyone...anyone at all have this problem? This seems to be a normal occurance for me. Do you think it's because my engine is flooded with fuel? I have brand new NGK BKR6 V power ready to go it. Oh by the way no CEL.

Thats wierd. The only thing that comes to mind is that a chunk of your cat(or muffler) may have disloged - getting stuck and blocking the exhaust till you shut it down.

my car was burning something too because I could see some smoke. Turns out I have oil leak in 3 places. One by the oil pressure sending unit, which may be the culprit for the burning smell, the other is valve cover right in the rear across from the battery and the third is the oil dump tube from the turbo. But yeah that sputtering is weird. You may be right, it could be exhaust related. Anybody else had this problem? I'm open to comments.

I noticed one day after driving for a little while and boosting it had a very ruff idle then I got home shut it off went out the next day and haven't felt or heard from it again, its been about a week, so I also don't know.
