hey everyone, i have the stage 1 hrc, and nothing else besides a bored out TB...can i tune the boost to 7-8psi without any mods besides tuning the fuel pressure? if so where should the fuel pressure idle at? oh and i can only put 91 octane since i'm in cali. would this be safe? is it difficult to turn up the boost on our applications..the hrc manual says that it's difficult..is it? how do i do it?:thumbsup

You shouldn't really boost over 5psi without an intercooler, especially on only 91 octane! And you can't turn up your boost higher than the wastegate setting without a boost controller anyway. I would suggest saving up for an intercooler, sidemount or frontmount, then you can worry about running higher boost.

Sounds like good advice to me, unless your trying to blow up your engine on purpose for an early rebuild.

Yeah, don't up your boost man. Even the Stage 2 has problems running 8-9psi reliably.

On stock injectors, you should be around 110-120psi fuel at 9psi.

If you're determined to go boost crazystupid: you might find that higher octane fuel (Say 110 for instance) would allow you to run higher boost for a few seconds.
