im gathering parts for my custom. im hung up on the turbo and a tad confused on one thing. sgould i get a t-25 or 14b, whats the major differences. also when i buy one do they all have the wastegates on them for the most part or what? i can get a t25 easier and cheaper.

My opinion, stick to the 14b. Basically, a t-25 is a VERY small turbo. It flows about 325cfm (thats nothing). A 14b flows around 405cfm. You can see the difference right there. You can probably find a 14b for very cheap, probably even cheaper then a t-25.

Just get a garrett T3 or a IHI from a Ford Turbo Coupe and you setup would be so much easier ....

yeah i'm plannin on a T3 right now as well, and i'm under the impression that the Hahn Super turbos use the T3 flange so that's good for upgradeability once i get the one for one of those.

by the way, of the 2 issued from the turbocoupe, wich is bigger? it looks like the t3 has a bigger compressor housing. how much do each flow?

Agreed. And I have one of the only 2 kits with the T25. Not to sound like a jackass but you will proboly NEVER find a 14B for cheaper than a T25. They are a direct bolt on upgrade for the 2g. And will make more power @ the same boost levels. But away from the dreaded 2 dsm bolt on turbo's. Really man go with a T3 from moto...you will not regret it.

I think a t-28 is just a tad bit smaller then a 14b.

T28 is about the same as a 16G. It just spools up faster...ect ect..BBT28 would be nice..although they are like $1000.
