48234, Converting turbo DSM injectors Posted by neovb, May-06-03 09:38 AM
I tried searching but didnt really get anywhere, if someone has a link please post it up!
Anyways, my friend is getting rid of his mirage turbo injectors (390cc), and they would be perfect for my setup. Theyre the exact same thing as 1G turbo injectors, just a little bit smaller because of the smaller displacement/boost. Hes going to give them to me for free, so its better then buying them :) I remember people talking on here about converting DSM injectors to fit our cars. If someone has any information or what to do in order to actually make them work I would really appreciate if they posted it up. Thanks guys.

well i believe you need a resistor pack, or something b/c they're peak and hold and not high impedence(sp). anyway, i would just get the correct injectors they're only like 100 new and worth the reliability. injector failure = meltdown.

Where can you get injectors for 100$? How big are they, 310cc?

310's. you can find the 30# ford injectors on ebay or at summit. they come in 8's, but if you split them w/ someone, it comes out to a little over 100. i think i paid 110 for my 4

Just put a 10W 10ohm resistor inline on each injector. It makes the ohms that the ECU sees about 13ohms with is perfect. You need between 11-15ohms.

Is that for the DSM injectors or the ford injectors? Ive found someone who has this description some 30# injectors, will these fit?
Hello, you are bidding on 4 - 30lb/hr (320cc) Ford Motorcraft injectors from a 1997 supercharged Saleen that had 25,000 miles on the odomter. These injectors are universal and can be used in almost any car (Standard Bosch Injectors). These injectors are the "new-style" 3 nozzel design. These injectors will work in your car if your car uses standard Bosch style top feed injectors if they are high impedance.
