buy "Maximum boost" by Corkey Bell. Its the turbo bible. i just did a custom kit myself and i had fun and learned a lot, BUT would not recommend it to anyone who dosen't have a fair bit of mechanical/fabricating knowledge and or the tools to get thru a peskey problem.

Buy a star kit! :+

i agree!! i also just finished a custom kit, they are a blast, you learn alot, but if you dont know much about fabing, or mechanics, dont go that route, if you do, i encourage it. i payed about 1,300.00 for mine complete with FMIC.

if your a newbie to turbo and don't much about them I don't recommend doing your own backyard kit. if you do know what's involved I say go for it. Cost me like 150 for a manifold, turbo, and downpipe from the junkyard will probably cost more than that for you since there's not stock car with a turbo manifold for us, but then again there might be...
