I need to know what color the speed sensor wire is. I still need to hook it up so that I can get some estimates on my times.

I'm pretty sure its the speed sensor wire I need. Whatever wires that are involved with the timing for 0-60 or quarter mile or whatever it measures.

you need to hook up the two wires.. one for the tach signal and one for the speed sensor....

speed sensor = white, or white with brown triangles
tach sensor = yellow w/ white stripe

Nah I haven't gotten around to it yet. Too much school work. Dumb finals.

I think that you will like it, it's a fun toy to have. I just wish I had a chance to play with it with a healthy motor. Ah well, soon enough!

How accurate is it? And how exactly does it work? Is it sort of like at the track where your wheels trip off a laser (or in this case a sensor in the timer)?

hey man you got those two reversed...the speed sensor wire is the yellow one with white stripe and the tach signal wire is the white one.

Uh...can I have a third opinion? Which goes where?
