47743, Pics of redone custom turbo setup.

Well I drove the car for the first time since November yesterday. I had it down to do a lot of stuff to it. I put in a new SPEC stage 3 clutch, replaced a bunch of seals, put in diff pin brackets, studded the head for the turbo manifold, put on a new turbo and painted it, painted the heat shield, redid the lower IC piping, installed DIY dual stage boost controller, redid all of my vac lines, and redid my coolant lines to the turbo. After seeing what Jamesman did I took his advise and redid mine. Mine's a cheaper version but same concept. Here's a pic of the whole thing. I have 24 more on my page but I'll be nice to the dial up users and not put them in the thread. Here's the link to all the pics:

Where did you get your IC piping...and the couplings?

Piping is from JC Whitney and couplers are from Ebay. I won 6 silicone couplers and clamps fro $1.25 I love no reserve auctions :)

I just love how that intercooler piping is set up. Good work man. I need to bid on those couplers myself instead of paying 45 bucks for just one.

After not being very happy with the prices of hoses and couplers....Motofool and I went to a local place in spokane and I got 11" of high temp silicone hose in blue and about 3.5 feet of high temp silicone radiator hose they use on semi trucks for 15 bucks! Ok the radiator hose is probly stronger than the silicone hose they sell at turbo shops! Highly recomended. Although I will probaly never get a deal like that again.
Dude your setup is looking GREAT!

Thanks for the compliments! The ECU is mounted on it's side on the battery tray. It's in this pic under the EIC controller.

Where did you relocate your battery to? And how did you do it?

It's in the trunk. I just used the kit from Summit that I got for $45. You may be able to do it cheaper though.

Hey Matt, did that summit kit include everything you needed? u wouldnt happen to have the summit part # would ya?

I need to order a couple things from summit this week, might add that to the order as well...

Yep it has everything included. It only has enough cable to ground it in the rear and not the engine bay. I have mine grounded to the trunk latch and have never had a single electrical problem. The part number is SUM-G1200A.
