How man lbs of boost are you runnign and how long have u been running.. i got a strong motor with 105k on it, at 75k had the HG replaced with mls and all the good servive stuff like carbon clean up...now if i go turbo now do you think it will last me through the summer and maybe some of next winter if i only do with star stage 1 set at whatever the reg psi is, i think 5 or so..??? and o yea i gotta change my name if i do that also!! :thumbsup

I put the Hahn stage 2 kit on my car with 112,500 miles on the stock engine. The engine handled 9psi fine for 5,000 miles.......until I turned the boost up too high and cracked the piston lands. Stay at stock boost levels and make sure your car is getting enough fuel and you should be fine until you are ready for a rebuild and some serious boost!!

What do you consider high mileage? I've got 67k boosting 5-6psi on a stage 1. I'll only keep it at 5-6 til I rebuild or sell the car. College student = poor = no $ for a rebuild anytime soon.

turboed my at 150-155k and ran fine, could of used a rering, but im selling my car and getting a GST because I figured money I put into the car wasnt worth it so i said screw it... but imo it will last for a while.
