depends on how big of a shot you give it. a 50 shot should add about 35hp at the wheels.

I dunno, some of our cars seem to respond better to nitrous than others. Before I started spraying my car I had 180/180/100/180 compression. After about 5 bottles of nitrous had been run through it on a 75 shot my compression was 190/190/185/190. It knocked about a second off of my 1/8th mile time, and my car pulled like crazy when I sprayed. My car was one of the lightest 2gnt's made though (2650lbs without me in it). Just try it, you'll like it a lot.

um broken compression tester would give you those results

hahaaa^^
well, the highest reccomended shot of nitrous on stock internals is 75-80, but some guy on here is runnin a 100 shot on stock internals w/ no probs. for a 99 youll need the NOS or NX wet kits...you can also go ZEX or Venom if you want a "smarter" nitrous system.

I was running the 100 shot. I found out though the stock torque converter doesn't like that very much. The computer tranny sences the over torque and cuts the fuel off! (tranny shop told me that) I ran the 75 shot no problems for over two years. After getting the balls to goto 100 bad things happened. First I broke the ring lands on #3 piston. Fixed that and then burnt the two exhaust valves on #3 cylinder. Now I'm going all forged with ss valves. If I were you I'd stay at 75 until you rebuild.

don't be a wuss, go for the 100 shot, it's sweet. but honestly stay at 75hp shot and resist the temptation to go higher. i am buying 992gnts turbo and motor so i am ready if my engine goes, cause i am sure something will happen to it soon, but i want to get a compression check on it before i yank it out to go stage 3.
