k star stage 1 on a 105k mile motor thats 100 percent stock will last how long? car burns 1 qt of oil every 3500 miles just about and still runs strong. can i put on stage1 and beat it pretty hard and will it still last on a non intercooled stage 1??

Way to many variable to answer that question with ANY kind of accuracy.

Sure but couldn't that be said for all of our cars?

Of course an engine with lower mileage and less wear will handle the stress or a turbo kit better. Check your compression, and try to get the engine running as good as possible before the turbo. but I'd be prepared to rebuild just in case.

I feel pretty secure at 45k miles....but at 105k I'd be leary...

I resent that remark! Mine lasted all of 27 miles with 50k on it. DAMN fuel system instructions!

27 miles and 4 cracked pistons and 2 spun bearings later... :(

Mine lasted 20k miles, I got a little greedy with the boost, and cost cutting measures lead me to some cracked pistons!

check compression. but if you got over 100k miles and want turbo, i would rebuild at the same time you go turbo about..
