I just got done installing my Star Stage 1 kit but when I started it up something wasn't right. No oil was going up into the turbo housing from the oil sending unit. It took a while to take off the socket from oil sending unit but we did it and T'd off everything like what the instructions says but what is going on? When I started up the car and once it was to idling speed then it started to choke and you got a pretty bad smell like some kind of metal or rubber was burning. We lubricated the turbo with oil before we started the beast up though in case you were wondering. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I dont even know how to tell if the turbo is getting oil. Cant see anything from the braided line. Turbo hasn't blown up yet so I'm just assuming oil is getting there.

The way you check to see if the turbo is getting turbo, is to lossen the feedline a little while the motor is running. As you lossen the fitting that goes to the turbo, you should see oil start to seep out. If it does then you tighten back up, if it doesnt, then you look to see why.
