I just recently got my gauges back in the car since the peole stole my stuff. My air fuel gauge is acting weird. I know its a worthless gauge but I still want it working properly. Its not going into the green area at all. When cycling it goes from yellow to below the red. It hits maybe one green bar once in a while. I know for a fact its plenty rich. I even richened up the s-afc untill it almost stalled and it still wouldnt go green. Its almost like the gauge is working great bu just reading at too low of a level like the voltage is dropped. On my gauge its liek the yellow is really the green part and the red is the yellow part if you know what I mean. When its supposed to be green it is in the yellow. Maybe its the gauge since it has been sitting around a while in my garage. anyone have any thoughts on this?

hmmmm... check to make sure you have a nice ground connection for it. does wonders. i used to have a cheesy ground connection and i had some weird stuff that was happening kind of like what you're describing.

dave If your running off your stock o2 sender that is probably your problem. I run off a bosh single wire o2 sender (20$) and a welded in bung (5$) Its super easy and the guage will never go bad late mike

I really wouldnt consider it a worthless gauge, sure its not nearly as accurate as a wideband or anything but its definetly nice to have and gives you a good idea of your a\f
