46111, O2 housing for 420A engine custom turbo Posted by gilee_8, Apr-03-03 06:17 AM Sup guys... this is a quick question, where can I get a O2 housing for a Small 16G turbo which is for a Eclipse GS? 420A engine. I been looking for 1G's and the 2G's stock..but I think they are not pointing the correct direction.. any ideas? | |

46118, RE: O2 housing for 420A engine custom turbo Posted by 420aVenger, Apr-03-03 07:43 AM Buy a 16G flange and weld your downpipe right to that then bolt it to the turbo. Flange should be ~$25 and you won't have to worry about it pointing the right way. | |

46138, RE: O2 housing for 420A engine custom turbo Posted by MetalJim, Apr-03-03 11:43 AM The stock 14b o2 housing outlet will point right at the radiator if you mount the turbine inlet like most people do on this board - horizontally opposed to the ports on the head. The stock turbo model mounts the turbine onto the bottom of the exhaust manifold, which puts the inlet at a 90 degree angle to the head(and the o2 housing outlet downward). I think the only option that we have right now is to weld together a custom downpipe - starting from the flange. | |
