i'm thinking of getting one, but i want to know if you guys feel a better response in throttle and not too much lag. i'm also thinking of fabricating a new intercooler pipe to match the TB diameter for more air flow.

Just a hunch but may it's here to see if any TURBO guys have it yet? If that's not what he meant, it's what I want to know, any turbo guys have it yet? Thoughts on it? :D

yeah i'm referring to the turbo guys.

i got mine today, i will put it on tomorrow and let you guys know how it works.

its on, i like it, the low end is back, sooo it used to be like this, step on the gas, wait a little bit andthen boost kicks in and then i'm off. now when I floor it, the transition from vac to boost is almost instantaneous and lag is really minimized. I do notice that the boost does drop off a little now at higher rpm's i think it is because of the ability of the air to flow much easier into the manifold. The BOV sounds completely different now it is a super sharp sound i mean super sharp and then the standard pshhhhhhhh. I had to buy a 2.5 to 2.25 reducer for the connection from the new TB to the upper Intercooler pipe. the Throttle plate and actuator do have a slight issue. the throw is not enough. it is almost enough, like 95 percent of the way, but i am going to fix it and let you know what happens. also, i took some pictures of a little area that i bet 90% of the people with this TB are having issues with and do not know it. there is some casting flash on the manifold where the tb seals to. depending on who was doing the machining that dayon the manifold, the new larger throttle body may hit this flashing. i'll post post pictures tomorrow showing what i am talking about. other than that i think this is overall a good mod for turbo. it makes the throttle a little touchy, but not as severe as i thought it would be so i'm happy.

dude that's freak'n awesome, do you also have the manifold inlet matched up? if not, then i'll for sure get it now, at least it gives me an idea of the performance. since you said the boost kicks in sooner it probably helps since i have a bigger turbo. keep posting more info, thanks...
