45333, HRC don't I need? Posted by finxster, Mar-24-03 06:44 AM
I'm buying a HRC Stage II Turbo Kit within the next 2 months, and have seen posts saying to get a Vortech SFMU insted of what Hahn supplies with the kit. So, what I was wondering is what don't I need from the kit, and what should I replace it with? I am also planning on getting the manifold and bottom end kit from gottude.com. I got a T-25 from a friend, do u think I should use it or just get the Super16G with the kit? Sorry so many questions.

Replace Cartech FMU with Vortech SFMU Replace 'Black box FCD' with a Missing Link Replace spark plugs with one range colder (NGK BKR7E-11) Replace stock injectors with something larger (Optional) Replace stock exhaust with larger(Optional) Use Exhaust manifold studs/bolts from GS-T (Get from dealership) Use the Super16G not the T-25

yes, but spark plugs hmm you can stay with the stock heat range depending how much boost your running. 9psi+ oh yah no more 87 crap, 91+octane min

won't be able to run the t25 anyway. it won't bolt up. don't see why you would want to either.

oh, well either way, he'll have to use motofools mani w/ the t25 or HRC's w/ the s16g. can't mix'n match them. if you're getting a full new HRC kit, then whyy waste money on a new mani?
