I finally installed the Sfmu yesterday, but the problem now is that the fuel pressure need to be 50 psi(full idle) and rise to 60 psi. But the pressure dont rise no more than 40 psi and I installed the largest disk with the standard spring. btw Im not turbo yet I just want to install it because when my manifold get done I dont have to install the fuel system (less work);) I dont know is the problem could be because Im running 3/8 fuel lines with the stock pump. This is my fuel system:
1.stock fuel pump( for now. I have the walbro 255 but Im going to install it with the turbo install)
2.3/8 fuel lines
3.1/4 fuel line to the fuel pressure gauge
And yes I tried to adjust the screw on top of the sfmu to adjust the pressure. TIA

no, when I put the vac line the pressure drop to 30 psi

maybe i'm not getting what you said, but if you dont have a turbo on yet, the fuel pressure will not rise any, as you have no boost source going to the SFMU. Keep the vac line attached to the SFMU with the car idleing. Adjust the top screw until you get your idle fuel pressure between 47-55 psi. I like to get it to around 50 psi for a happy medium. Dont follow the SFMU instructions when setting fuel pressure, because when no vacuum is on the SFMU, it will raise fuel pressure to what its supposed to be at 0 psi( static fuel pressure).
