Hey Bill, any word on HRC's advancements towards a 420a sheetmetal intake manifold ?

Additionally, how much power increase can i expect just by adding mild cams + sheetmetal intake manifold.
(230hp@wheels right now)
Thanks!

Ah, so many toys, so little time!

No news on the intake, I am afraid. We are 'suffering' under a huge order load right now, and engineering capacity for new product is completely absorbed at the moment.

I may have a manifold to show on the RS at the DSM Shootout. I am coming there with a full clip, so to speak, and wish to put those who would dis the 420A in an uncomfortable position. Won't you all please come help me in this quest? Don't do it for me, do it for the 420A Nation!

An update: I will shortly go to the track for testing on the RS with its new FMIC, a 20G-H turbo (one of our new models), and several other enhancements. Low 11's are the goal on this latest iteration of our Stage V.

Then the shootout combo will go on........tasty! Please don't ask: the Shootout setup will not see the public eye until that weekend. You'll have to come see for yourself what I have in store!

BTW: Does anybody know more about the Venom intake for the 420A? Anybody seen or used one? Just wondering.

As for your question about cams and intake: it would have to help, but I can't comment on the dollars per HP at this point until we do some testing ourselves. Just keep in mind that we have run mid 11's on the stock parts.....until you get to that point, your $$ may be better spent elsewhere.

I understand that the stock parts can perform very well as you have showed.. All I am looking for is efficiency. More power without all the boost.
(current goal is 350hp) :)

later!
