45176, Response to HIGH EGT's and fuel injectors.

I've been reading up lately and seen a few high egt's on low boost pressures, and i'd like to give my .02. Personally, i don't think stock fuel injectors should be used period w/ an aftermarket turbo. I have no technicalities to back up what i'm saying, but HRC seems to think they are alright on stock motors up to 8-10 psi. I don't think this is true. For the times I used my stock injectors, i never ran more than 7psi and when i hooked up my EGT i was blown away. Two days later I had in 30lb'ers. If i had a stock motor, it would have been shot a day after I got the kit on. I would not risk the life of your motor on injectors. It is definitly worth $100 to buy the 30lb Mustang injectors. They make a world of difference in sub-10psi EGT levels.
