Will Neon 420a ARP Head Studs Work in the Eclipse 420a? Thanks

What part numbers?

They should, i'd guess, but the head is one of the main differences between the two platforms... so, maybe not.

Don't people buy the Mopar Neon head bolt kit from places like Howell and use it on the Eclipse or Talon? I would think that it would work.

Does anyone know for sure? What head bolts or studs have yall used? I need help quick...should I just buy stock head bolts?

I have my receipt in front of me and here's what I got, worked GREAT! I HIGHLY recommend the ARP head studs! I ordered from ARP direct. 1-800-826-3045.

....4x...ATP5.400-1LUB...Corner Studs.....$9.58/ea
....6x...ATP6.500-1LB.....Center Studs.....$9.98/ea
..10x...APN12-1.............12pt Nuts..........$1.60/ea
..14x...APW34...............Washers...........$0.66/ea
....1x...100-9902...........ARP Moly Lube...$1.35

TOTAL 124.79 (158.29 w/ Next Day Air shipping)

Clean the block's threads thoroughly before installation. Use Moly Lube on EVERYTHING! Screw the studs into the block hand tight. Make sure they're screwed in completely and are all even at the top. Install the headgasket and head and tighten in proper sequence to 71 ft lbs. Loosen and re-torque 3 times. You're done!

If you plan on pushing lots of horsepower, I recommend 80 ft lbs of torque.

I will say they should. I guess we can find out here real soon, as i need to order the studs. I suppose i can return them if they dont work, and then use the other part #'s, and get the studs pieced together. It will be several weeks yet though.

i know the DOHC neon and the eclipse both use the same dow pins so I think they should probably use the same head studs
