the only special tool that I remember needing was the oil sender socket, and a schrader valve removal (tire stem). Both tool coombines should be under 10$

The oil sending socket is a DEEP WELL 1 1/16" socket. I'd recommend the 6 sided over the 12 sided, it'll grip better. A few swivel heads will ease some stuff too. Patience is a virtue, trust me on this one! Also, get a long extension for some of those hard-to-rech bolts. Where are you located? Anywhere near VA? If so, I'm more than happy to give you a hand!

I am not sure if this is what you remember but after the install I had to buy a crows foot wrench for those damn hard to reach bolts on the downpipe. x(

hard to explain, go to a part store and ask. you'll see.
Oh, and gods gift to the turbo install was a dremel.

Um what is the dremel for?
Crows foot: Looks like a stubby opened in wrench... REALLY STUBBY, instead of a handle of the open ended wrench you get a square where you put a socket or extention. I never used them though. Only tool I bought for the whole thing was a OIL Sender socket. It was like $2 at Auto Zone.
