45037, Sales Specials at HRC Posted by EclipseRST, Mar-19-03 05:57 AM
I went to HRC's site and went to their sales specials. I noticed they had intercooler piping on sale and was wondering if I bought that, could I use it for a custom setup if I were to get a 1G sidemount from a junkyard. Here's what I was looking at...
Stage I Intercooler Pipe, Mounts Greddy Type S or Modified 1st Gen BOV, 2 1/4" mandrel bent piping, powder coated gloss black. H IC-5100 List Price $99.95 Sale Price $89.95
Stage II Intercooler Pipe, Upper, Replaces Throttle Body Elbow, 95-99 Talon and Eclipse, 2 1/4" mandrel bent piping, powder coated gloss black. H IC-5110 List Price $99.95 Sale Price $89.95
Stage II Intercooler Pipe, Lower, for Stock, HAHN Super 16G and 20G turbos, 95-99 Talon and Eclipse. H IC-5120 List Price $59.95 Sale Price $49.95
Intercooler Piping Set, Full Set of Three- 95-99 Eclipse and Talon, Stock T-25 and HAHN Super Series Turbos, Mandrel bent piping, powder coated gloss black, H IC-5140 List Price $249.95 Sale Price $199.00
Those are my options. I'm not exactly sure what all the Stage 2 includes as far as piping goes. But if I bought an intercooler elsewhere, would I be able to use any of this piping?

Judging by a quick glance, it seems that the IC pipes are for 4g63.

Fuck. I'll probably end up just shelling out the $800 for the stage 2 upgrade. x(

Woah it's that much for an IC? I've gotten offers on dsmtrader for 50-100. I heard it was the piping that kills your wallet ($300-$400).
Also, won't my custom piping need a port for the BOV? Where should I have it put?
