ok got done with the setup. went thrught 2 turbo now on the third turbo and change a few things and got the car boosting now.just boosting 5psi for now. got a few questions im running a t3/t4 and i am getting a lot of lag is that cause the turbo is too big? and how much can i boost up too with stock injetors as ur can see im still running on stock internals. just trying to boost up to 8-9 psi for now.

define a lot of lag. How long does it take to spool up? You should only run 7 psi or so on stock injectors.

well when im step on it from a stop it will spool up quick but if im rolling like in 2nd gear and step on it it takes a little while to get up there.

Well it sounds like you're actually talking about lag. 2 questions to make it people easier to answer your question. What is the boost threshold? How much lag are you seeing - in seconds?

I seriously would not boost over 6 psi with a stock motor! Unless your ready to rebuild.

Is this a custom kit? Is it intercooled? What RPM are you seeing full boost? As far as PSI goes it's different for every car, mine has seen 8psi everyday for a year now. I wouldn't say it "should" have a problem pushing that power on the stock units. The one thing I don't really see anybody think about is the condition of their stock injectors when problems arise with the turbo. Assuming a clean, properly working injector, your car should have 0 problems at 8PSI.

what are the specs on your T3/T4. If its anything like the stars .063AR turbine housing its the size of the turbo. Just drive it like a honda. I did 10psi on stock injectors but with forged pistons. Stock pistons and injectors you will be gambling with 9psi. Might last for a while, might not.
