44389, What Components With HRC Stage IV? Posted by esseclipse, Mar-06-03 03:31 PM
So I have a 99 Eclipse GS with a HRC Stage II, HRC fmic, 2.5" dp, 2.5 high flow cat, 3" catback, Greddy type s bov, 8.8:1 JE pistons, Crower billet rods, missing link, greddy profec B....I want to go to a Stage IV....so I am going to get the Accel DFI and accel/hrc 625cc injectors. What Fuel presure regulator should I use and what else do I need?

I've heard good things about the Aeromotive fpr. It's a 1:1 riser, which is what the DFI should need. Summit sells them for $130. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?d=18&s=111&p=3814&part=24991&v=AEI

Thats what I use with the 8 injector setup as well. I love it. Pressures are perfect every time.

W/ the DFI you don't need to worry about adjusting the FP, so an adjustable fpr isn't truly "needed". The Bosch 1:1 works real well, it holds very strong and very accurate and isn’t as expensive.
You adjust the pulse width instead of the FP.

HRC sells them. Just an FYI, it is a non adjustable regulator. Holds idle at 39-40psi solid.
