are most top feed injectors similar enough to be used on our cars. IE: would injectors from a honda, or a mustang, work as long as they were the correct size and feed?
im looking for bigger ones than stock (310-370cc) on ebay and there are a lot, but "for honda & acura". have heard many different ones will work. is there a place to go to find out whhich will work and not work?

mustang or thunderbird injectors work good, most people go that root or aftermarket. i think some people were using 4g63 injectors with a resistor pack to get the right impedance to run on our engines, alot of turbo honda guys do that.

Mustang Injectors, GM injectors and also Accel injectors which is what Hahn sells.

...wouldn't a custom wound transformer (or a set of 4) work better for matching impedances than just using resistors? i don't know what frequencies injectors go up to as RPM's increace, but i do know that depending on how well the resistor is made it can turn into a capacitor as the input frequency is changed.

Just off the top of my head, injectors for a Prelude and TT 300ZX (370cc) will work with our car. I got a list at home.

I agree, using resistor packs to adapt different impedance injectors just sounds like a bad idea.

As far as drop in replacements, I'm using the green-top injectors from a Ford SVT Lightning. They're 441cc and a drop-in replacement. The ford red-tops from mustangs and thunderbirds are 310cc. IMO this is the way to go since you can find them brand new on ebay for $250 a set of 8 ($125 if you split them with a friend).

thedawg: do you have more info or a model number for these red-top injectors? I want to throw in some 310's this weekend, and if i could go get them from the auto parts store and not mail order is would be a happy kid. I was looking on ebay, but i cant find any 310's with red tops, not 310's at all actually. Hook it up! thanks

Resistor packs are not a bad idea. Mitsubishi doesn't think so, After all, they used low impedence injectors and a resistor pack on all of the motors that they make. Seems to work for them...

I've always heard that injectors from a mustang work good on our cars. I believe PowerEclipses is using mustang injectors. I think he today me that today. :o

Go down to the store and buy 4 30lb injectors for a rustang.

Yeah its that easy. Thier going to say what engine? uuuugh i dunno, mustang engine. I know all the specs but they dont care. If they cant look up a make in the computer and get the model number its too much work and they wont do it. jerks. who carries injectors in stock anyways?
