2. when filling the tank, is it true that you have to leave your tank with the shop for 48 hours so the nitrous can "freeze" in your bottle? i heard that from a pretty reliable source, but i was under the assumption that it was a fill and go type deal.

3. did you guys recieve one or two cylinoid mounting brackets? i only got one, and i'm trying to figure out how the hell to mount them both on it without it looking like crap. (obviously, with the braided lines, one would have to go in front of the other, right? it looks ugly)

i dont know about 2 of your questions, but i have never heard of leaving nitrous in the bottle for 48 hours to "freeze". when the place fills it, it should be in the same state and temp before/after it gets in your bottle. i know here, they fill it out of what looks like a huge nitrous bottle.

Either or, doesn't make a difference.

This is complete BS! It is a fill and go type deal. (I wonder what these people think when people use a bottle heater.) :) We have NEVER been told this and we get ours filled at a race shop. Nitrous constantly changes from a liquid to a gas but will freeze skin on contact.

According to the instructions you are supposed to get 2, but we only got 1 also. We kind of rigged the one to hold both side by side against the firewall. You don't have to have them one in front of the other, one line comes from under the car and the other from the Schrader valve.

Pick one for ground and one to the relay. makes no difference with either one.

48hrs is an exageration. Either the shop will leave it in their freeer for about an hr or you can put it in your freezer and take it to the shop in a cooler. Almost all refillers have a pump that pumps the gas in. If they dont find somewhere else cause you may not get a full fill no matter how cold the bottle is.

If you have a wet kit you should have two brackets, one for each solinoid. If its a dry kit you should have one that looks like this:

Pic didn't work for me. Photopoint must be down but with dry the solinoids should be on one bracket in series with the blue nitrous regulator between the two. (I've posted the solinoid pic before).

I sort of get this, correct me if I am wrong pleese.
If the shop doesn't have a pump that pumps it in you need to freeze the bottle?
The shop where we get it, it is already under pressure and have always got a full fill.

Yes thats pretty much right. a cold bottle makes filling easier even with a pump. Without a pump your at the mercy of unadulturated natural forces. Although not recommended, with a cold bottle you can get at least a few extra lbs in.
