I have a 97RS, i want nitrous, who to get it from? what type to get? What shot to get? What manufacturer to get it from? Whats a good price range? I AM NOS IGNORANT!!!! PLease help me change that. Thanks guys.

You need to get a WET nitrous kit from NOS or NX. The NOS kit has a part number which is in a post in this forum somewhere. You don't want to go past a 50 shot to be safe. Some people run a 75 shot on stock internals with no problems. I will run a 75 to 100 shot on mine after I install a Fuel pump and injectors and upgrade the bottom end and the valve train but thats gonna be a while.

The NOS part # is 5208 not sure on the NX #.

Has anyone been running the NOS dry kit for our cars?? if so, can you explain a bit more how that kit interfaces with the 97+ fuel pressure regulator/fuel system to increase the pressure of the fuel?

I plan to add an aftermarket fpr by the fuel rail and add a return line and get rid of the odb-II fpr by the fuel pump and need to know how this is going to interface with the dry kit. Also any dry kit part# will help..

Stan I think ran the NOS brand dry kit on his car BUT his is a 95.
I don't know of anyone who has ran an NOS dry kit on a 96+ (why when it is so much easier with the wet, you don't have to really change anything)

Well I guess, we used all the stock mounting points and such, if we took it off the car it would look like it was never there.

You guys are trying to make it much harder on yourselves than it needs to be. Using the dry kit on a 96+ requires relocating parts of your fuel system or running another line. (lines are expensive)
The wet kit uses the test port on the fuel rail which much easier and it come with all the line needed to do it, the dry kit will only have enough line for that application. (95's have the FPR under the hood, 96+ are back by the passenger side rear tire.)
