Im about a week away from ordering an NX kit for my 97 RS, so i have a few questions...
1. Since you have to run on the rich side when squeezing, does the car run rich all the time or does the ECU automaticly adjust for rich/lean when squeezing vs. not? does that make sense?

2. when running a colder plug for N20, does this effect much HP/performance while running regularly or on the launch before WOT/3000rpm?

3. Did you tune-up yourself after install or did you have a shop do it?

you have a 97 so you're fuel system will not compensate. i though a great idea would be to install an inline pump and hook it up to your nitrous switch so it activates when you turn your nitrous on. and i don't think running colder plugs will hurt your performance.

OK, here's the low down. You have a 97 so you have the OBD-II Fuel system so you need a wet nitrous kit. That means that when the Nitrous kicks in, it also sprays extra fuel through the nozzle that sprays the nitrous. I would suggest getting a Walbro Fuel Pump before you get Nitrous just to be safe.

You need the wet because it bleeds off fuel from the rail to inject with the nitrous, unlike a dry kit that up's fuel pressure at the regulator to compensate. The reason you have to run wet is because your fuel pressure regulator is under car behind the passenger side wheel, 95's have it under the hood.
You do not NEED a Walbro fuel pump but I guess you could add one for safety but it might be more trouble than it is worth. (unless you plan on running a really high shot)
One range colder plugs I view as a nessisary only because they cut down detonation.(they will not hurt the car, even if you run them all the time, sometimes causes a miss at idle though.)
Also alway run premium (92-93 oct) gas with nitrous.
