Let's say I spend some good money on making my engine sronger. What's the biggest shot I can put in? 150-200 shot? 2 stage possible? What's the biggest shot ya seen on a 420A?
Please no turbo comments I have a 90 AWD and I want something different.

Wow, tough question.
I am going to use boost as an example though to give you an idea because no one I know of has went that far.
A 75 shot wet is max for stock internals vs. 5-6 psi with a turbo. Based on that, (mind you this is only theory) people with uprgraded internals and increased fuel supply can double sometimes tripple that initial boost. In theory you should be able to handle at least a 150 shot with upgrade internals and enough fuel/ tuning etc.
You had mentioned a 2 stage, this would be a better idea as it would much less violent then trying to do 150+ shot all at once (also traction issues :) . Also I would look into direct port systems, considerably safer (A 100 shot direct port could possibly be safe on stock internals but this is still theory.)
As for who runs the highest shot, I think it is 80.
Remember I am far from an expert.

I have built internals, and i am currently running a 100-shot. ill be converting to direct port like 96NOS mentioned, cause as the shot gets bigger, the likely hood of puddling increases a lot. i also have a walbro 255 fuel pump. i definitely wouldnt go higher than a 100 without upgrading the ignition, which i am planning on doing with a MSD DIS-2. a two-stage setup would be an almost necessity. i have hardly any traction with the 100, so i can only imagine what a 150 would be like. if u r going that high, i would also see if u could get upgraded axles or plan on replacing urs a lot if u drag race fro ma stop. goodluck with it.
