Hi all,

By this weekend my NX kit will be here..
Just checking again.
1. dont use below 3k rpms
2. dont use in 1st unless you wanna spin
3. anything else?

I have an auto, so I have to wait until I hit 30-40 mph to use the nitrous? (2nd gear)

4. would I be better off using the 50-60 hp jets than the 75? (so I can maybe use it in 1st gear?)

i have a 5sp and i launch at 3k and spray from the launch.i run in the neighborhood of 2.1 2.2 60ft times which is really good on 17s and street tires and stock suspention .when i launch i usually dont floor it right away.i let the tires bite ,then when i start to move i matt the throttel and go.

With an automatic you can use it in first gear, no problem. It'll work great. Any lower than around 2500rpm's and your tires will spin a little. Right now I have an 80 shot.

We also launch with the nitrous, only we rev it to around 4000 rpm (drag radials). Becareful to shift before redline. (with auto, hopefully no worries there :) )
If this is your first time running nitrous on your car I would start with the 50 shots and work your way up as you get used to it.

I wouldn't run 75 shot with the NX systems right away. start with the 55 and then work up to the 75. trust me. I blew my #4 Piston running 75 and the current mods. yours are simalair to my setup so i think you will be very safe with 55 and you can spray in 1st just do it at 3500rpm or so. also make sure you have the gauges. they do help alot..
