Zex and Venom won't work with our cars. They work off the voltage on the TPS which ours is lower than it needs. You have to get a standard EFI kit from NOS, NX, Nitrous Works.. . .

Venom tells me it should work fine. Where did you here this about the TPS? The venom Basic Nitrous only works at full throttle, so why won't it work? I wanted to get the Basic nitrous to be safer than the rest.

They're right. It won't work unless you have an OBD I car. This has the return line on the fuel system. That's the only way those "dry" systems will work. If you have an OBD II car, you'll have to go with a wet kit. I believe the new, cheaper system venom put out has this same limitation.

Look is says that you can use it if you don't have a fuel return line!!

Venom VCN-1000 Basic Nitrous System
The VCN-1000 is venom's new entry level nitrous system. The system is built using Venom's proprietary closed loop fuel control system which insures the proper air fuel ratio under all operating conditions. The system features an advanced microprocessor based control module that will automatically terminate the flow of nitrous if the air fuel mixture becomes to lean.

You control the flow of nitrous to your engine using various sized nozzles (each kit contains 4 nozzles), the module will automatically control the fuel flow to your engine using your existing fuel injectors. No modifications to fuel pressure of fuel system plumbing is required and best of all it works on new fuel systems that do not include a fuel return line.

so why would they say that??? This system seems to be the safest out their. Where did you here it wont work? Has anyone ever tryed it??? They have dyno charts of a 2000 neon on thier web site? I don't know, but I think i'm going to try this system.
