Well the bottle HAS to be at a 45 degree angle, usually only fits in the trunk. The switches can be put where ever you want them to be. You are gonna want them somewhere EASY to get to. You may want to try to make it a hidden install (SLEEPER!!! }> ) See if you can hide the bottle in the trunk some how, be creative. Then you can run the NOS line under the car to the engine compartment. You can probably hide the solenoids for fuel and nitrous under the intake manifold so they can't be seen. Put the nozzle on the bottom side of the intake tube so you can't see it either. A completely hidden Nitrous kit is great when you smoke someone and then they want to look in the engine bay and see nothing! }>

Maybe I am wrong but thats what I thought I had always read. The brackets were usually different heights to angle the bottle. Yeah this pic here has the bottle at an angle but it's not 45 degrees. Hmm. . .

MMM. . . .does this make anyone else drool. . . Direct port!!!

It'll work better if mounted at an angle. It'll only take you a couple of hours or less to install. I ran the line through the rubber grommet (a big bunch of wires already runs through this one, I just drilled a hole in it below the wires) in front of the passenger floorboard. It's way up in the front under the edge of the carpet. Then I ran the line along side of the passenger door under the sill, back behind the rear seat side trim and finally out into the trunk. At this point, you can run it to the trunk or into the spare tire well. The bottle fits nicely and is hidden inside this area, but you have to mount it flat to put it there. I feel that the line is safer from damage being mounted inside the cab. Running it under the car you risk road damage from rocks and debris. Oh well, just a preference. On another note, Speedracer and I are in the process of converting a lot of content for our site. I'll be able to post some pictures of my install at this time.
