43381, Direct Port NOS kit for sale Posted by Super20G, Oct-27-01 07:38 PM
I have a direct port kit for sale. Its actually never been used... most of the kits there, might be missing a few little fittings here and there that you'll need to get from nos mailorder, but shouldnt be much at all if any i'll have too look and see... the manifold is already drilled and the lines are already bent and installed professionally, so I will probably sell the kit with the intake manifold unless someone doesnt want it... drilling and installing in the manifold was as far as the installers got. The system has never been used, I have the manuals and everything also.. and a baggy full of different jets... its setup now for a 100shot but can be changed to whatever you want... make me a good offer and I might part with it... I'm happy boostin and dont need the NOS like i thought i would.

Did you ever find out what model number it is? Also, what kind of price are you looking at selling it for?

It's a 5030-FI NOS Sportsman fogger system. You can get anywhere from 50 to 250 hp out of this setup.

i wonder how many SECONDS a bottle of n2o would last at 250hp.

You should be able to spray a 250 shot with a engine rebuild I would think. If I can run 25-30psi which is about 250-300 hp from boost on average, then I would think a 250 shot with a built bottom end and built up valvetrain probably would be a good idea too. Now a 1000 shot Pro fogger 2 setup would be a different story. How the fxck an engine can support an extra 1000hp instantly is beyond me, even if it was built like a brick shithouse. -- Brad Rickard 98 GS HRC Stage V (nuff said)

Or step up to the chromed kit (05030-FIC) and pay 530 bucks shipped!

Hey, what's a "Kiku"? Is that a fruit? Just curious. Yeah, that sounds like a GREAT price on the same NOS fogger system that i'm selling, only problem is that you must have a "better bargain" version of Internet Explorer that your running, because carparts.com is selling that same kit for $616.07 marked down from $699. I am not sure about shipping to your location, but they quoted me another $18.01 for shipping, bringing the grand total to $634.08 shipped to your door. Kinda close to $460, or 640 for that matter, lol. I'll go ahead and let mine go for 600 shipped guys, I'll swap you manifolds also, so everything is already drilled in and ran. -- Brad Rickard 98 GS HRC Stage V (nuff said)

Yeah, I want Ray's setup :-) I am looking for ways to cram more air into this biatch. Yeah, Fast420a is the culprit :-) I cant get ahold of Ray though, anyone know whats he's been up to?
NER guy, Ok 500 shipped and swapping manifolds, I dont care, I just need to get this thing to move out of my garage. Were you all gonna release your turbo kit or has Hahn and Star saturated the market? -- Brad Rickard 98 GS HRC Stage V (nuff said)

Rays currently busy with family problems. Any car related issuses other then the sale of his car, has been put on hold. and will be for quite some time.
As far as the NER Kit, i will have all the 411 next weekend when i come back from texas hopefully have a meeting w/ the maker of the kit, Shaun.
As far as the nos setup. I rather buy a new setup and not have to replace any peices, plus i cant afford to send you my manifold and wait for yours, cant do downtime. I appreciate the offer. Thanx tho

His car is a race car. He has a daily driver. I think he would have the downtime, not you. If I remember correctly the valvecover is off right now anyway.

You can count on my car being in a billion parts on an average day. Actually, my car hasnt been driven since late may, early june. I have done so many more mods since the last time she's ran, its gonna be like a totally different beast, yippie! Expecially after its back together and dyno tuned, I just about cream my pants thinking about it j/k. Yes, I have to have a daily driver with this biatch. Even though it is my 1st car, 1987 nissna maxima, it gets me from point a to point b, thats about it... wish i wouldnt have sold my 240 a few weeks back... needed more money for the clipse... kills me when I see a v8 with an attitude tho... I just removed the ac system and evap system yesterday, right before that, the EGR system went bye bye, along with the valvecover, intercooler piping, and intercooler to get powdercoated, the turbo assemby, downpipe, radiator, fans, manifold, front bumber, etc are also out for awhile till Hahn actually sends me the gaskets I needed 2 weeks ago...
I might keep the nos and run a 50 shot for spool up at the track. Less than 500 and I might as well just keep it to have it around if I ever need it, or I might just get everything togehter, and take some pics and put it on good ol' ebay. I sold Just the NOS 10lb bottle off my 240sx for 200 bucks on ebay.
Get NER up and going, I'd like to see their kits. I think I am gonna have my fiance get a 2gnt, she wants a 3g, but I am gonna try and get her into the 420a engine cause I dunno much about the mitsu engines. maby a NER kit on hers :-) -- Brad Rickard 98 GS HRC Stage V (nuff said)

Hey fruity a$$ do your math before trying to get smart
"kit 5030-fi can be had for 501$ at Summitracing.com"
if you think about it, call up carparts and say summit has the same kit for 500 bucks, they'll match it AND give you a 10% discount...add on the 18 bux for shipping....comes around 460 bucks for me (i'm in delaware).
So think before you become a smart ass.

I was just fuggin around kiku, don't get bent out of shape. BTW, I am just gonna keep my kit I think, I dont need the money, well, I always like having more money, but I'm not hard up or anything so I'll just hang onto it for awhile and maby make some runs with it next season hopefully. -- Brad Rickard 98 GS HRC Stage V (nuff said)

Hey Super, your car has been sitting for 5 months? That is a sad story buddy. My car was sitting for a little over a month and that was long enough for me to pick up some bad habits. I didn't have a reliable daily driver though. If you get a chance, take some pictures of it all apart and post them.

fianlly got a driver to work, yippie, that was a hell of a hastle. Here are a few pics in the beginning of the last teardown process. She hasnt taken a bath in forever though, almost half a year now since the full treatment was done to her. I dont care though, I'll just be happy when I'm satisfied enough to put her back together again, then I'll drive it for a few days then I'll get a rush of new ideas and back on the jack she goes.
