4323, Turbo Timer mishaps......
Posted by dsm1, Apr-26-01 04:36 PM
Hey guys i'm having a weird problem with my timer. When i hooked it up when i was n/a it worked like it was suppose to, count down when you removed the key then shut itself on. Well now after installed the turbo when i go to remove the key it shuts off. If i just turn the key to the off position it works....its when i remove the key that it #@$%s up. before i could remove the key and walk away....now, i have to sit and wait(kinda defeats the whole purpose).

I have the Blitz dual TT. I rechecked all the wires and and there still connected the way i had it before. I can't figure it out.
As far as wiring goes....after connecting the wiring with the connectors to the harness and timer I was left with only 2 wires. SleeperEclipse i'm not sure what colors you have coming out of the timer but mine were orange and purple. The purple one went to my e-brake...the orange goes to the tach wire on the ecu...i did not connect this wire on mine. Hope that helps.
