Are the kits easy to uninstall? If so, would a dealership know you have been running nitrous? If I were to run nitrous, and it wouldnt void my warranty, what would be the safest setting to run at? I would assume the lowest setting, but I have heard that 75 is the highest while being safe. If I can do it, I would probably run about 40-50 shots most of the time, and I really wouldnt use it all that much anywase, but want to have it if I need it. Oh yea, this is for the Lude, but its more of a can I get away with it question? Hope somebody has a good clear answer.

Yes mjbd, you are an idiot, cant you tell, no one will respond to your dubbass question. If I were you, I would start with basic bolt ons anywase. But if you do run NOS, I wouldnt go above a 60 shot, play it safe. Run 92 or higher with some octane booster. Dont shoot the nitrous all the time either, according to NOS as long as you stay within the cars limits, you are ok, and no increase in wear and tear on the engine should occur. You had better hope someone else can help you out more than I can, cause for some reason I feel that I know no more than you.

No way in hell you can nitrous and Warranty will mix if you f*ck your engine up. 5hp or 100hp. Nitrous is not even legal to use on public highways in many states. And yes they are easily removed. You might have to get a new intake pipe and small shit to hide a few holes but they can be removed undetectable. And stop being so f*cking sarcastic!!!!! Not like you posted this 3wks ago.

Didnt mean anything by it, its just somthing I do when I got a topic on my mind, and Nitrous has been on my mind for months. I thought people would find it funny, sorry if you were insulted somehow. Here's the plan, dont f up the enigine, install one next srping to early summer, if it goes to the shop for service, take the kit off, and only use the nitrous once in a great while, such as at the track. Sounds like a plan to me, I am sure others have dones this.

Thats what we did, used it at the track and only occasionally on the street.. SHHH :) It's easy enough to get off had we F'ed something up, it had to be, we still had warranty.

Didnt want you guys to think I was being an ass or anything, you guys rock for info. Anyway, I was over at a honda forum, sorry but I have to go there some times, and they told me to stay away from dry kits, they arent as safe as wet kits, and got the idea that a Fogger system might be the way to go. And, what happend to your car? Was it because of teh nitrous? What did you do then, and I assume warranty covered it.

Were you talking about what happened to my car? Or Stan's? If it was mine it was totaled a little over a month ago by a drunk.

Sorry for the late reply, but you can use nitrous and your warranty will still be intact. Speedracer spoke to the dealer about this and his turbo, but they did not agree. So he talked factory rep for the area and he said once you put it back to stock, your warranty is still there. It's common knowledge that aftermarket parts do not void your warranty. They have to prove the parts caused the problem.

Yea, thanks for the reply. I have came to that conclusion, and since I am waiting for the plate kit, it should be fairly easy to put back to stock. If the plate kit doesnt get released for some reason, then I will get another intake manifold, and buy the DP fogger system.
